About

Mylène earned her bachelor's degree in agronomy from Université Laval and master's degree in veterinary science from Université de Montréal. She has been at IRDA for 12 years, where she contributes to research on crop safety and hygiene in agricultural settings. In recent years she has also participated in research projects on field crops and organic market gardening at the Organic Agriculture Innovation Platform (Plateforme d’innovation en agriculture biologique) in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville.

  • Microorganisms present in livestock farms and in agricultural settings that are potential human pathogens
  • Survival potential of pathogenic microorganisms on horticultural products and in the environment
