Thanks to a partnership between Institut de recherche et de développement en agroenvironnement (IRDA) and Groupe PolyAlto, the largest plastic products distribution and manufacturing company in Québec, it will now be possible to lower a building’s energy costs by recovering heat from stale air inside and using it to preheat incoming fresh air.
Under the terms of a new marketing license, Groupe PolyAlto will step up the manufacture and distribution of the POLYMAIR 150 system, a heavy-duty heat recovery air exchanger designed by IRDA to operate in hostile environments in the presence of dust, corrosive gases, or high humidity.
