Claude-Alla Joseph (Ph.D.) graduated with a degree in agronomy with a specialization in rural engineering from Université d’État d’Haïti. She also holds a master’s degree and a doctoral degree in soils and the environment from Université Laval. Her research interests are mainly focused on soil analysis and sound fertilization practices, well as on the agricultural recycling of fertilizing residual materials, in the context of sustainable development. Before joining IRDA, Claude-Alla was a lecturer and teaching assistant in the Department of Soil and Agri-Food Engineering of Université Laval, where she also worked as a research assistant. In 2020, she joined IRDA as a research assistant, where she currently participates in the revision of Québec’s fertilization reference charts.
