The latest report on the health status of Québec's agricultural soils dates back to 1990. Since then protective and conservation measures have been introduced, and a new study headed up by researcher Marc-Olivier Gasser, a soil and water conservation expert, is underway. According to Gasser some of the indicators indices are troubling.
